Who am I?
I’m Andrew Ley, a graphic designer who works with small businesses and charities who are passionate about what they do.
During my career I’ve worked for and with a variety of brands, from local government bodies to multinational corporations. Time and again I would see the same issue crop up, and it would frustrate me. Despite being great at what they did, these places struggled to consistently communicate their greatness to their customers.
I started Andrew Ley Graphic Design to address this, by helping great businesses like yours to fully realise and demonstrate their value.
What do I do?
Using a mixture of strategy, coaching and design I lead clients like you on a journey that helps you understand how and why people choose your business over another. I then produce a new brand that visually represents your unique offering to your customers.
My branding process has been designed to involve you as closely as possible at every stage. This helps you to gain a fuller understanding of the decisions we make and how they relate to your business, and helps me to make sure the final product is as relevant to you as possible.
What does my branding process look like?
A typical branding process will look something like this, although certain steps may be altered if time or budget restrictions apply.
Research And Analysis
Using interviews and audits we will define what your market looks like, where your current problems lie and agree on what a successful outcome for the project will look like.
Planning And Strategy
Through a programme of workshop exercises we define the key values and attributes that make your business great, and identify ways to put these at the heart of your practices and processes.
Visualisation And Styling
This is the point where your new visual brand finally comes to life. During this stage we explore and produce a visual style that communicates your values and greatness to the world.
Delivery And Launch
We roll-out your new brand across your business. I provide you with all the assets, instruction and support you need to fully adopt and embrace your new brand.
Support And Advice
The project has ended, but it doesn’t mean our partnership has to. Because it takes effort to maintain a consistent brand over time, I make sure I’m always available to give you any help or advice you might need.
